WE SEEK VOLUNTEERS FOR THE FOLLOWING ROLES:
Educational Outreach: These individuals are responsible for disseminating content and hosting events to educate the public about the role of LGBTQ+ professionals in STEM.
Fundraisers: These individuals engage foundations for support of the program and keep track of donor engagement. Responsible for connecting people in the broader community through sponsorship agreements. Organize and facilitate potential donor events and dialogue.
Public Relations: Develops, maintains, and manages relations with external audiences and media. Write our own stories. Assist with production of video clips, press kits, decks, and media materials as needed. Manage responses to inquiries (e.g., email).
Social Media/Web Design: This role involves maintenance of the Out Astronaut Project website, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram social media accounts.
Paralegal: This role prepares legal documents as required.
